i'm happy to announce 'Royal' p. metallica moulted today... i can already see the difference in her size :) she's already over 2" and i'm sure she'll be bigger before she's done with this moult!

i am just so darned pleased... *whew* i hope her well and stress free existance while she hardens up.

oh blue is not the word for what she's showing me! last night i snuck in to give her a little mist (yes scott i have not forgotten your suggestion to mist any T who has moulted) - and she ran to the bottom and laid flat.

i watched with my flashlight and almost stopped breathing when i saw the most vibrant, almost neon blue shine back at me!!!!!

oh i hope i can get that on film for you all...

off to try...

cant wait to see pics,mines also darkening and looking "fuzzy" so a moult for me soon too.I remember when mine 1st got the blue and going in and looking at it and the huge smile on my face wen i seen those little blue and yellow legs. :wub:

thanks scott :) i know it's not the kinda photos that other, better photographers around here would have taken... as so many of you are so talented... but i didn't want to stress her out and she was racing around her viv... so i took three photos and put her back to rest and grow...

i'm sooooooooooooooooo pleased... gotta send an email to david avery and let him know how great she's doing!!!

looks so nice and plump, especially for just molting! Brandy calls ours "ticks" before a molt cause, well, they are so fat! especially when the baby rose was real small!!
